About the Job
If you are a detail-oriented and experienced medical coder who is looking for a flexible and remote job, then look no further. In this role, you will be responsible for completing surveys and coding medical diagnoses, procedures, and supplies.
As a medical coder, you will have an opportunity to work with a wide variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and medical billers. You will review medical records to ensure that they are accurate and complete, and you will assign appropriate codes according to the guidelines set by ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of medical coding experience
- A CPC or CCS certification
- A comprehensive understanding of ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT coding guidelines
- An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
- A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
